TerrainScouter answers weather and terrain questions by text message, so you can get a forecast for an exact spot when you are out of data coverage but still have a cell or satellite text signal.
There is nothing to sign up for. You opt in by texting the number above. We only ever reply to a message you send us first — we never text you otherwise.
Send a GPS coordinate:
47.790 -114.500 — point forecast for that spot
hunt 47.790 -114.500 — sunrise/sunset, thermals, moon, pressure and movement window
fish 47.790 -114.500 — the same plus stream temperature and hatch window
You will get one reply per message you send. Text HELP for help, or STOP at any
time to opt out.
Message frequency varies — you receive one reply for each message you send, and nothing else.
TerrainScouter does not charge for the text service. Message and data rates may apply from your own mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to any message and you will receive no further messages. Reply HELP
for assistance, or contact us at
support@terrainscouter.com.
We use your phone number only to reply to the message you sent, and the coordinate only to look up the forecast for it. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
